Applications Open For First 73 Homes At Hampton Demesne In Balbriggan

On Monday, 14 September 2026, the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Tony Murphy, visited the Starter Homes show homes at Hampton Demesne, Castlelands, Balbriggan, alongside Michael Prenty, Head of Affordable Housing at the Land Development Agency (LDA), Rob Farrell of the LDA, and Paul Carroll, Director of Services (Housing) at Fingal County Council.

The visit marked a major milestone as the application portal opened for the first 73 high-quality homes, the initial phase of a 207-home scheme designed to offer homeownership opportunities to eligible purchasers.

Hampton Demesne is being delivered through a partnership between Fingal County Council, the Land Development Agency (LDA) and Ballymore.

Funding from the Government's Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund (HIIF) has provided essential infrastructure at Castlelands, unlocking the site for residential use and accelerating the delivery of new homes.

The project is a significant investment in Balbriggan's future, aiming to create a sustainable, vibrant new neighbourhood with high-quality homes for first-time buyers.
