The HSE has confirmed that the Donegal East Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) has moved into newly refurbished accommodation at Lifford Community Hospital, creating a contemporary, fit-for-purpose base for services across the East Donegal area.

CDNTs offer interdisciplinary health and social care for children and young people with complex needs linked to disability, developmental delay or other conditions. Teams bring together a range of professionals to work alongside children, their families and partner services to promote development, participation and wellbeing.

The relocation marks a notable upgrade to local healthcare infrastructure and underscores the HSE's continued investment in community-based provision. The new premises provide an enhanced setting to deliver care and support to service users.

The HSE also confirmed that the Primary Care Physiotherapy Service remains in its existing location within the same building, ensuring continuity for patients attending physiotherapy appointments.

With several services now operating on the campus — including Lifford Health Centre, the Donegal East Children's Disability Network Team and the Primary Care Physiotherapy Department — on-site parking is limited.

Members of the public are reminded that parking at Lifford Community Hospital is reserved for patients and staff using the hospital. Overnight and long-term parking are not permitted, and vehicles should not be left in the car park for extended periods.

The HSE is asking all users to respect these arrangements so that spaces remain available for patients and staff who need access to the hospital and its services.
