Phase One of Fingal's R132 Connectivity Project is moving ahead between Bostik Junction and Estuary Roundabout, with night-time surfacing scheduled for 21–24 September to limit disruption.

The 3km scheme, which broke ground in April 2026, is being delivered in four phases from north of Pinnock Hill roundabout to Bostik Junction (north of Estuary roundabout). It will upgrade transport infrastructure along the corridor and facilitate works for the upcoming Metrolink project.

To facilitate progress and minimise traffic disruption, surfacing will take place at night from 21 to 24 September 2026 on Estuary Road, Estuary Junction and the R125.

Visible progress includes new walking and cycling facilities and footpaths taking shape at Bostik Junction, the junction crossing nearing completion, and ongoing construction of the northbound walking/cycling lane along the R132.
