Overnight Closures And Lane Restrictions On RFK Bridge In New Ross

Essential repair works at Pier 4 of the RFK Bridge will require lane closures during both daytime and night-time from Tuesday, 22 September.

The bridge will also be fully closed overnight on Wednesday, 23 September (8pm to 4am) and Thursday, 24 September (8pm to 4am). During these full closures, traffic will be diverted through New Ross town.

The programme is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, 6 October. A contingency of two additional shifts has been included to allow for adverse weather or other unforeseen delays.

Further details on closures between 28 September and 2 October will be issued next week. The council thanks all road users for their patience and co-operation while these essential works are carried out.
