Uisce Éireann has completed works in Oola, replacing 4.8km of ageing water mains to reduce leaks and bursts and deliver a more dependable supply for households and businesses.

The project swaps vulnerable older pipes for modern, more durable infrastructure designed to curb leakage, cut the risk of bursts and reinforce the local network for the long term.

Previously, frequent leaks and bursts on the ageing mains led to service interruptions and wasted treated drinking water. The upgraded system is intended to provide greater reliability for customers across Oola for years ahead.
