After recent progress on reservoir cleaning across Inishowen, Uisce Éireann crews will next focus on Gory Hill and Black Farm.

Operations are planned for Gory Hill on Monday, 28 September, followed by Black Farm on Tuesday, to keep local reservoirs in optimal condition.

During and after these activities, some homes and businesses may experience reduced water pressure, temporary discolouration or intermittent supply. Uisce Éireann says it will work to minimise any disruption and restore normal service as quickly as possible.

Damien O'Sullivan, Uisce Éireann Water Networks Operation Manager for Co Donegal, said: "This programme of works is part of Uisce Éireann's ongoing efforts to safeguard the quality and reliability of the water supply for homes and businesses across the county. We have completed works in Newtowncunningham, Aughaweel, Buncrana, Milltown and Manorcunningham in recent days.

"Our crews will be working with care to have everything back to normal as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience as we carry out these essential works."
