Council Seeks Views On Traffic-Calming Plan For L1135 Pallasgreen Road

Limerick City and County Council has issued a notice, in accordance with Section 38(3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994 as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, outlining its intention to alter the road layout on the L1135, Pallasgreen Road, Co. Limerick.

The proposed scheme provides for the construction and installation of new traffic-calming islands and cushion ramps, together with new signage, updated road markings and the installation of new public lighting, plus associated works. The interventions are planned along the L1135 from Pallasgreen village towards the end of the posted speed-limit zone.

Drawings and particulars of the proposal can be inspected at Limerick City & County Council Office, Railway Road, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, V35 K497 during normal office hours from Friday 25 September to Monday 26 October 2026 inclusive. The documentation will also be available online during the same period at mypoint.limerick.ie.

Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or lodged online at mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm on Friday 6 November 2026.
