Adrian Pollock, operations director (Civils) at McLaughlin & Harvey, has been named the Outstanding Contributor at the 2026 Northern Ireland Construction Awards.
Founded by the Construction Employers Federation (CEF), the awards bring the sector together to acknowledge the achievements of individuals and organisations, celebrating strong partnerships, pioneering projects and leading initiatives.
Pollock was recognised for his impact on significant programmes across Northern Ireland, including work with Translink and the restoration of the Gobbins Cliff Path, as well as his problem-solving approach and the introduction of initiatives that support a greener future.
As Translink's primary point of contact, he played a key role in securing McLaughlin & Harvey's place on Translink's FW122 Permanent Way Major Projects Framework to support delivery of capital and maintenance works over the next five years.
Adrian Pollock, Operations Director, McLaughlin & Harvey, said: "I'm honoured to have received the Outstanding Contributor award. In nearly two decades at McLaughlin & Harvey, I've had the privilege of working on some of our biggest civil engineering projects across Northern Ireland, building strong relationships with our clients and supply chain partners while helping support a greener transport network.
"I'd like to thank the teams across McLaughlin & Harvey, our clients and everyone we've worked alongside for their hard work and support over the years, which has helped us successfully deliver so many projects together."
WorkSpace, a division of McLaughlin & Harvey, working in partnership with Translink, was also shortlisted for Infrastructure Project of the Year for delivering the Translink Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Infrastructure Programme.
The project marks a landmark investment in sustainable public transport across Northern Ireland, covering five major depots and culminating in the installation of new electric bus charging systems to help the region's journey to net zero.
The company congratulated all nominees and winners and said it was pleased to celebrate others demonstrating construction excellence across Northern Ireland.
