Mayo Invites Expressions Of Interest For 2026 Town And Village Renewal Scheme

Construction News Image

Mayo County Council is inviting expressions of interest for the Town and Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS) 2026 and the Project Development Measure 2026. The schemes are funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht under Project Ireland 2040 as part of Our Rural Future.

The 2026 TVRS aims to revitalise rural Ireland by prioritising town-centre economic and social regeneration. Projects that support sustainable employment creation, strengthen town-centre resilience, enhance streetscapes, and return vacant or derelict buildings and land to use as community multi-purpose spaces through refurbishment and renovation are encouraged.
