NZEB Information Truck Brings Home Retrofit Advice To South Dublin

South Dublin County Council will bring a Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB) information truck to residents from 19–30 October, with stops at Corkagh Park and Tallaght Stadium to help households plan warmer, more efficient homes; walk-ins welcome.

The mobile roadshow runs from Monday 19 to Friday 30 October, offering a chance to learn how energy upgrades can improve comfort and reduce bills. It will be based at Corkagh Park from Monday 19 to Friday 24 before moving to Tallaght Stadium from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30.

Visitors will be guided through the fundamentals of home retrofitting, including what retrofitting involves, how to interpret a Building Energy Rating (BER) report, and the most common measures for homeowners. The truck will also outline the benefits of better energy efficiency and comfort, highlight renewable energy options, and explain available grants and supports to make upgrades more affordable.

Whether you are weighing up small improvements or planning a full home upgrade, the roadshow provides practical advice and expert guidance to help you get started. Walk-ins are welcome.
