M&S has officially reopened its transformed Aldergrove store at 9am today, following a major overhaul that has increased the shop’s size by 50% and broadened the range of M&S Food products and services for the local community.
Four colleagues who have been with the Aldergrove team since it first opened in 2017 — Betty O'Neill, Caroline McGarry, Dawn Thornton and Maggie Jeans — cut the ribbon to mark the occasion.
Shoppers can now choose from over 2,000 additional products, a refreshed layout and several new features, including a larger in-store bakery, upgraded coffee-to-go facilities and, for the first time at Aldergrove, a frozen food range.
The expanded store also offers a wider selection of M&S Food, with more Remarksable Value and Bigger Pack Better Value products, alongside new product launches and an increased choice of organic items.
Additional self-checkout tills have been installed, while customers can continue to use the store's Click & Collect service.
Aldergrove is the latest M&S in Northern Ireland to benefit from the retailer’s store rotation and renewal programme, focused on creating bigger, fresher Food stores with wider ranges and improved facilities for customers.
