Henry Brothers, headquartered in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, has been selected to deliver three new schemes for Babcock International Group at His Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde (HMNB Clyde).
The work includes upgrading security fencing for a key support building at Faslane, supplying and installing specialist ballistic security shelters across the base, and refurbishing an existing Pressure Test Building.
Valued at £2.55 million, the programme is part of Babcock's ongoing investment in critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde, ensuring facilities and assets that support the Royal Navy’s Vanguard and Astute-class submarine fleets remain resilient, secure and future-ready.
Nick McKeown, Regional Director for Scotland, Henry Brothers, said: "Being appointed to deliver these new projects at HMNB Clyde reflects the trust Babcock places in Henry Brothers and our capability in delivering complex, secure and highly specialised infrastructure.
"Our workforce has extensive experience across the defence sector, and we remain committed to ensuring the Royal Navy’s operational facilities are robust, resilient and fit for purpose.
"These new appointments strengthen our partnership with Babcock and underline our shared focus on delivering high-quality, dependable facilities for the submarine fleet."
Work will commence immediately, with all three projects contributing to the ongoing modernisation and enhancement of facilities across the Clyde estate.
