Radius Direct Launches Recruitment Drive

Construction News Image

Radius Housing is inviting skilled candidates to join Radius Direct, its newly established subsidiary focused on maintaining homes and supporting communities across Northern Ireland.

Formed in July 2025, Radius Direct Ltd was created to enhance the delivery of maintenance, repairs and support services across the organisation's housing portfolio. The subsidiary complements existing contractor partnerships while expanding internal capacity through a comprehensive multi‑trade recruitment programme.

The expanded service will increase capability in core areas such as servicing, planned maintenance, minor works and responsive repairs, helping to ease ongoing pressure across the social housing sector. A dedicated team of multi‑skilled operatives will work alongside current staff and contractor partners to boost flexibility, improve response times and strengthen quality control.

Key priorities include accelerating the turnaround of vacant properties, delivering compliance and regulatory services, rolling out planned maintenance programmes, completing redecoration, minor works and repairs, and providing grounds maintenance and industrial cleaning.

Radius Direct is recruiting for a wide range of roles, including: Electrical / Qualifying Supervisor; Minor Works Supervisor; Electricians (Testing & Inspection); Gas Engineers; Plumbers; Roofers; Painters; Multi‑Skilled Operatives; Grounds Maintenance Operatives; Industrial Cleaning Operatives (Windows & Gutters); Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Lead); Health & Safety Officer; and Admin / Work Scheduler.

The initiative offers opportunities for experienced tradespeople, supervisors and technical specialists, as well as those looking to progress their careers within a growing organisation with a strong social purpose.
