Around 200 objections have been filed in relation to Sean Dunne's plans to redevelop the Jury’s Berkeley Court site in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, it has been revealed.
Mr Dunne has plans to construct a 37-storey tower which would include apartments, offices, shops and hotel.
Submissions against the site have been received from as far away as Cork and Wexford. A number of high profile businessmen, including billionaire Dermot Desmond, have objected to the plans. He said: "The scale of what is proposed is simply enormous" and added: "What would be fine in the docks or in Dubai simply will not work in residential Dublin."
