Road Works At Hightown Bridge Belfast

The Hightown Bridge in north Belfast will be reduced to a single lane of traffic from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am each night from Wednesday December 12 until Friday December 21.

These works are required to allow essential BT services to be diverted in advance of the Hightown Bridge being demolished in January next year.

The works will be undertaken at night to reduce the impact on road users in the Glengormley area. During the night time works one lane will be maintained over the Hightown Bridge and traffic will be under temporary traffic control. The Hightown Bridge will be returned to its normal two lane arrangement each day.
