An Bord Pleanála has revealed it received the highest ever number of submissions concerning Sean Dunne's Ballsbridge plans, than it has on any other project.
And, the board said, most of the submissions are in favour of the proposal. Of the 125 submissions, 88 back the project.
Dublin City Council previously granted planning permission for Dunne's proposals, but denied permission for a 37-storey tower and office block, which, the developer said called into question the feasibility of the entire project.
Mr Dunne's Mountbrook previously said the development will not commence until the two omitted buildings are granted permission.
A public hearing is expected to take place to process the high level of submissions.
