The Engineering Employers Federation (EEF) has teamed up with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to run a series of workshops to communicate sensible risk management in practice.
The Northern Ireland seminar will take place in Belfast on 30 October.
Risk assessment can be a useful business tool if it is carried out properly, and delivers a useful action plan, according to event organisers.
The workshops will use actors and humour to help show how risk assessment can avoid becoming a bureaucratic nightmare, and actually benefit a business.
Speakers from EEF and the HSE will also work through real-life practical examples of risk assessment to illustrate how it can be done successfully.
