Sligo Council has temporarily closed a dilapidated bridge in the county.
A spokesman for the council said th action was taken as a matter of urgency.
The bridge, located in the town of Cloonlaughil, Curry, has been closed to traffic since Monday and the restriction is expected to remain in place until the end of this month.
During the closure repair will be carried out on the Cloonlaughil Bridge, which the council has described as "dilapidated".
"Access will be provided to residents on either side of the bridge but not to 'through traffic'," added the spokesman.
