External improvement have got underway on 11 homes in Maghera's Crawfordsburn estate, as part of a £200,000 project co-ordinated by the NI Housing Executive.
District Manager Eddie Doherty said: "As an organisation we are committed to revitalising rural communities. Good housing contributes to the regeneration of rural communities and we are delighted that this external maintenance scheme is now getting underway."
The scheme includes external wall cladding, structural repairs, new roofs, new external doors, window servicing, painting and repairs to paths and fencing.
The contractor is Hetherington Painting and Building and the scheme is expected to complete in early summer.
