Established in 1996, John McAslan and Partners has won over 50 international design awards and opened offices in across the UK and in Moscow.
Among his best-known architectural projects are the transformation of the Roundhouse, London, the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, Max Mara headquarters, Italy and Yapi Kredi bank, Turkey.
He has also taught extensively and personally oversees the McAslan Fund, which supports collaborative projects by students and recent graduates in Britain and overseas.

Professor McAslan marked his tenure with an inaugural lecture at Ulster's Belfast campus showcasing his company’s approach to heritage and infrastructure projects in the United Kingdom.
Welcoming the appointment, Professor Ian Montgomery, Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment said: "John McAslan's appointment as Associate Professor further develops the excellent portfolio of expertise within the School of Architecture and Design.
"It will also extend the existing high quality design and social art focus of our architecture programmes within the context of international professional practice and creative thinking," said Professor Montgomery.
"John's high profile corporate design work integrates award winning architecture and exemplifies the best of modern architecture. His expertise will make a valuable contribution right across the Faculty."
