Éamon Ó Cuív, Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, has sanctioned a grant of €134,125 to Coiste Pháirc Imeartha Mhaigh Cuilinn.

This grant will enable the committee to construct an all-weather pitch near their clubhouse in Maigh Cuilinn, Co Galway.

The Minister said this pitch will be a wonderful facility and will enable the Club to organise more activities.

"I am pleased that my department can help with the construction of this pitch in the Maigh Cuilinn area and this will, obviously, provide an extra facility in the area when Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta is held there in 2012," he said.
