M50 Road Works Progress In Fingal

Work on the new M50 has forced the closure of the northbound on-ramp in the area of the N3/M50 interchange, in Fingal.

Fingal County Council has approved the requested closure from contractor D&C Ltd to facilitate the upgrade works.

During the period of the temporary road closure the alternative routes for traffic wishing to travel northwards on the M50 from the Blanchardstown, Mulhuddart, Castleknock and city directions on the N3 have been put in place.

The council said diversion signage advising motorists of the alternative traffic routes will be in place during the period of the temporary road closure.
