Construction sector activity feel once again last month, the Ulster Bank has revealed.
The industry suffered another sharp decline in July, according to the bank's latest market indicator.
However, the assessment has shown a deceleration in the rate of decline compared to previous months this year.
The Construction Purchasing Managers' Index illustrated the sharpest contraction last month was in the residential category, where the pace of decline actually accelerated.
Ulster Bank said construction companies are showing some signs of optimism for the year ahead, despite the continuing downturn.
