Several minor infrastructural schemes have been commenced by local authorities across Ireland in recent days.
Pipelaying works commenced along the Commons Road in Navan this week.
The project is taking place close to the Claremont Stadium and is estimated to last two weeks to complete the essential upgrade works.
Road improvement works have also started on the R125 Dunshaughlin-Ratoath Road.
Meanwhile, Meath County Council has said it intends to partially close the R156 at Rathmolyon, to through traffic from the junction of the R156 to Cr543 at Greens Cross to the Junction of R156 and R159 in Rathmolyon Village, to allow for works.
Ongoing road works on Dawson Street, in Monaghan finished this week, however, similar repair works on the North Road and Church Square, in the vicinity of the Dawson Monument, will begin on Monday.
Next week will see resurfacing work commence and finish on the network in the vicinity of the Dawson Monument.
