A unique project focussing attention on Belfast's controversial interface walls is being launched this Friday (28 August).
The ambitious 'Draw Down the Walls' project is the culmination of three years work by contemporary art space, the Golden Thread Gallery, and the North Belfast Interface Network, and will use the notorious walls as a starting point for a range of artworks, workshops and high profile art events.
Its objective is to create debate and discussion about the walls inside and between different communities bordering the walls.
'Draw Down the Walls' is organised by Golden Thread Gallery, in partnership with North Belfast Interface Network, Ardoyne Youth Club and Deanby Youth Club, and funded by Belfast City Council's Development and Outreach initiative and Good Relations Unit.
