Planning permission has been granted to an apartment development in Buncrana.

Eleven new dwellings will be constructed at the Ardravan project.

An original proposal for four three-storey townhouses at the same site will not be progressed.

Donegal county council approved plans for the scheme at Swan's Mill, Mill Bray, Ardravan last year.

Car parking at the site is to be increased also with permission granted for a further five parking spaces, leaving room for 83 spaces in total.

An bord pleanala granted permission for the development on a number of conditions.

A protected structure is located on the site at Swan's Mill however the structure does not form part of the application.
