Union workers at the Dublin Port Tunnel have threatened strike action later this month if a row over pay levels is not resolved.
The SIPTU members have voted unanimously in favour of a strike, and insisted they are paid one third less than the normal rate for the industry.
Stoppages are expected to commence July 23, failing a positive pay outcome being established before then.
SIPTU is calling on the tunnel operator Transroute to take the opportunity to resolve the dispute rather than face a complete shutdown of the facility.
