Sir Richard Branson opened the Cool Planet Experience at Powerscourt on Wednesday, 10 January.
Fianna Fail TD for Wicklow Stephen Donnelly said: "The centre's opening marks the culmination of years of work by Vicky Browne, Sinead Crowley and the rest of the team. I am very proud that Wicklow is the county which has been chosen to host the centre which is the first of its kind. The team have already contributed much to the community in Wicklow, and I look forward to seeing this partnership continue.

This Government has an appalling record on responding to climate change, and that is at least in part because there isn't a sufficient push from the enough of the public for serious action."
