Belfast Firm To Provide Pedestrian Barriers To Secure Festival In London

The Canary Wharf Group has selected Belfast-based Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) to provide pedestrian barriers to secure the Winter Lights Festival in London.

The event is now in its fourth year and runs from Tuesday, 16 January until Saturday, 27 January.

It is a display of light installations and interactive art is an amalgam of sculptures, structures and installations that are the creations of some of the most innovative artists and designers around today, presenting work in different forms of light technology.


ESF has recently added branded and themed retractable barriers to their comprehensive 'Style Collection' range.

Alan Lowry, Managing Director of ESF, said: "We were delighted to have won this contract to supply our new range of barriers for the wonderful Winter Lights festival. The retractable barriers play an integral part in the festival by securing the lighting structures and installations that are located throughout Canary Wharf ensuring not only the installations are secure, but the public are too.

"The barriers are proving to be a popular addition to our portfolio as they are very versatile and can be used in many settings including experience attractions, public, social, retail and leisure projects."
