Cork-based contractors, Surebond Limited have commenced work on the alternations and extensions to the existing Supervalue supermarket at Courthouse Road, Fermoy, Co. Cork.

The project will include alterations and extensions to existing supermarket to include new build extension, change of use of ancillary area from retail ancillary use to retail use, associated elevational and signage alterations.

The demolition of existing entrance canopy, trolley housing, glazed lobby, disabled toilet and ancillary area, alterations to car parking layout, trolley bays and services connections and retention of existing retail area and amalgamation of this area into new extended.

The development will measure 462 sq.m. and will be located on a 1.1 hectare site.

The project is expected to take 3 months to complete.
