Significant progress is being made on a new £6 million primary school development in Co Armagh.

Construction work is well underway at Tannaghmore Primary School in Craigavon, and has two-storey classroom block has been completed.

Education Minister John O'Dowd said: "Tannaghmore Primary School has been an integral part of the local community in Lurgan for over 100 years. The new £6 million build will ensure that the school continues to deliver a quality education in modern, state-of-the-art surroundings for many generations to come."

A new 22 classroom school was announced by the Minister in June 2012 and is scheduled to complete later this year.
