Work To Commence On £105,000 Road Resurfacing Scheme In Carrickfergus

Work on a £105,000 road improvement project in Carrickfergus is to begin on Wednesday, 09 December.

Work on the £150,000 resurfacing scheme will take place on Cairn Road.

The scheme, extends from a point 2.3 kilometres east of B58 New Line Road for approximately 1.6 kilometres towards U3007 Loughmourne Road and is expected to be completed by Friday 15 January 2021.

To facilitate the works a full weekday (Monday to Friday) road closure will be put in place on Cairn Road between the hours of 7am and 6pm from Wednesday 09 December until Tuesday 22 December 2020 and from Wednesday 06 January 2021 until Friday 15 January 2021. A diversion will be in operation via New Line; Paisley Road and Loughmourne Road.
