The search for Ireland's most innovative third-level engineering student has begun.

Submissions are being sought for the 2022 Siemens Innovative Student Engineer Award, which is now celebrating its 23rd year.

The competition provides an opportunity for third-level engineering students and graduates of 2022 to submit projects that showcase engineering innovation, sustainable design, and commercial potential.

Following a shortlisting process, finalists will be invited to an in-person awards event in Clyde Road where the winner will be chosen following a presentation to a panel of engineering professionals, industry experts and entrepreneurs. The winning student or team will have the chance to join the illustrious list of former winners and be named the 2022 Siemens Innovative Student Engineer of the Year.

The deadline for submissions is 07 October 2022.
