NI Water has celebrated the four-year anniversary of its 'Join the Refillution' campaign.

The Refillution campaign is aimed at everyday behaviours by encouraging us all to stop buying single use plastic bottles and instead refill a reusable one with tap water. Since 2019, the campaign has seen schools and local councils install refill stations and encourage hundreds of local businesses across their areas to join.

This landmark occasion also coincides with World Environment Day, which is celebrated on 05 June every year. The year 2023 will mark the 50th edition of World Environment Day, which will be celebrated under the theme 'Solutions to Plastic Pollution'.
