Belfast City Airport Lounge Set For £1.2m Transformation

Plans to upgrade and extend the lounge at Belfast City Airport have been announced.

Aspire Lounges is investing £1.2 million in the project, working in partnership with concept design specialists DV8 Designs to extend the existing lounge area to accommodate 178 seats, effectively increasing its capacity by 70 people.

CGI images of the final design have been unveiled, with the new lounge integrating a combination of tiled and curved slatted screens, comfortable seating designed with plush upholstery, and enclosed private booths to enhance privacy.

The new lounge is expected to open this summer.
