FK Lowry's Site Supervisor, Conor Donnelly, has scooped the Companies Quarterly HSEQ Award.

During August, Conor was operating one of FK Lowry's Soilmec SR75 Piling Rigs and on returning from a break, Conor noticed an unfamiliar noise coming from the Machine.

Conor conducted a check of the Mast and Main Hoist Rope using the binoculars held in each Piling Rig. He noticed a significant fault with the Rope which could have caused the rope to break causing a significant risk of injury and high repair costs to the business.

FK Lowry said Conor's diligence and commitment to safety is commendable and worthy of a reward.

The Quarterly HSEQ Awards promote FK Lowry's positive health and safety culture, and the company's 'Stay Safe' campaign.
