CITB NI Announces Next WIB NI Mentoring Programme

CITB NI has announced that the next WIB NI Mentoring Programme is set to begin in October 2024.

As a corporate member of Women in Business NI (WIB NI), members of the CITB NI Women in Construction Network has access to the WIB NI mentoring scheme.

The mentoring program offered by WIB NI has a solid reputation, valued for its effectiveness in supporting women's career advancement. It serves as an invaluable resource, leveraging the expertise and insight of mentors to address various challenges and foster the exploration of fresh concepts. Additionally, Women in Construction members are actively encouraged to partake in mentoring roles, recognising their wealth of experience as a valuable asset beneficial to women across diverse professional domains.

Since 2020 17 Women in Construction members from companies including Farrans, Graham, Heron Bros and Adman have undertaken the Mentoring programme learning fabulous skills for both personal and professional development. The mentees have come from a range of roles within construction including civil engineering, professional services and health and safety and the programme is relevant to all.
