Maintenance improvement works are currently taking place at Seapoint beach in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown (dlr).

The works, which are being carried out by the dlr County Council beaches team, involve the restoration of two stepped access points to the bathing area from the Seapoint platform.

For public safety during these works, access to a small section of the bathing area will be restricted. Access will remain restricted to the demarcated area for the duration of the works including evenings and weekends.

Access remains open to the water for swimming via three alternative points. Swimmers are advised to enter the water using one of these three available access points and to complete their swim in the bathing waters outside of the demarcated zone.
