Road Resurfacing Works Scheduled For Cavan

An emergency road closure has been scheduled to facilitate resurfacing works in County Cavan.

The L3002 Kilnaleck to Crosskeys from the junction with the L3004 at Rockfield, to the junction with the L3026 at Carrickatober, will close from Wednesday, June 4, to Friday, June 13, from 9.30am to 6pm, Cavan County Council has announced.

Alternative routes will be in place and include:

• On the L3002 from Kilnaleck, divert via the L3004 at Rockfield, L3016 (Rassan Road) to Ballyjamesduff, and the L3026 to the junction with the L3002 at Carrickatober. The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works and local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
