Housing Executive Board Members Announced

Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie today announced appointments to the Board of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.

Mr Brian Rowntree and Mrs Ann Henderson have been appointed for a further term as Chairman and Vice-Chair respectively. The appointments, for a term of five years, will take effect from November 5 2007.

Three board members, nominated by the Northern Ireland Housing Council have also been appointed and will serve from November 5 2007 until November 4 2008.

They are Councillor Jim Speers MBE, Councillor Eamonn O’Neill and Councillor Jennifer Palmer. The members will receive £6,605 per annum for their services.
