Further works phases at Hunter's Lands will include a publicly accessible plant nursery, walled garden and adventure play facilities as well as conservation management of specially protected Candidate Scientific Areas of Conservation, Special Protection Areas and National Heritage Areas that adjoin the recently developed site.

It is proposed in the longterm to provide pedestrian linkages to Silverstrand and an eventual coastal walk that will link between Roscam and Barna.

The new facilities will provide greater access and provision for the public to enjoy the lands at Lough Rusheen and Barna Woods.

The Council will continue to improve the facilities and will encourage it to be used a hub for the future Roscam to Barna Coastal Walk.
