County Antrim-based Brett Martin has completed the Galway racecourse stadium.
This is the third recent completion of international sports stadia projects for the company which manufactures plastic products for construction.
The company also provided bespoke roofing for Cricket World Cup venue the Kensington Oval in Barbados and for the 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium in London earlier this year.
Ian McKane, Technical Manager of the Mallusk firm, said: "Brett Martin has built a solid reputation as experts in the provision of specialist rooflighting solutions for stadia, due to the high level of technical expertise throughout the group and the quality materials we manufacture."
Mr McKane said the Galway Racecourse project was technically challenging: "The roof had to be designed to cope with the exceptionally high westerly winds whilst at the same time providing an attractive feature.
“There were also complex technical considerations due to the shape of the arena, which we were able to overcome through the expertise of our three manufacturing plants working together in conjunction with architects, consulting engineers and contractors."
Brett Martin's recent annual turnover was in excess of £110 million. The companies portfolio of sports stadia projects includes Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Manchester United’s Old Trafford and the City of Manchester Stadium.
