Construction Industry Federation representatives from Cork held a major seminar on the recession last week.
The meeting, held at the Radisson Hotel, focused on the continuing impact of the banking crisis on building firms in the county.
During the morning seminar advice was given to delegates on managing their relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
The CIF said it would be carrying out a survey of those attending in order to ascertain the impact of the credit crunch on businesses in Cork.
The seminar was chaired by CIF Director General Tom Parlon and other senior CIF Directors will be present along with independent banking experts.
