Irish property group Treasury Holdings has appointed Peter Byers as its new finance director.

Mr Byers will also oversee strategic and business planning at the group.

A former group finance director of Heiton Holdings, Mr Byers has vast experience in financial strategy and control, investor relations and pension planning.

Irish Managing Director, John Bruder said: "The appointment reflect the company's growth and its confidence in its expansion strategy across international property markets."

"Treasury Holdings has consistently been to the forefront in identifying and capitalising on property trends both in Ireland and abroad," he added.

Mr Byers will be based at the company's Irish headquarters in Dublin.
