Youth Organisation Allocated Over £100,000 For Upgrade Work

Over £100,000 has been allocated to a youth organisation in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, to upgrade the fire suppression system, access doors and heating system.

Share Discovery Village has been allocated a total of £103,191.11 to carry out the improvements.

Education Minister Peter Weir said: "This investment will enable improvements to be carried out across the youth service positively impacting on children and young people.


"It is estimated that over £9million will have been invested in the programme of youth capital works in the 2016/17 financial year. This investment will enable improvements to be carried out across the youth service positively impacting on children and young people.

"I am confident that the substantial investment in capital projects will help in the drive to improve the infrastructure of youth provision and the completion of all of these works will ultimately provide better facilities for our children and young people."
