Construction work on the new roof at the Suffolk Road flats has begun and the work is expected to be completed by late Spring.
The development was initially built with a flat roof, however the new low maintenance roof,will transform the look of the building from the outside.

NIHE Glen Area Patch Manager Alison Devenney said: "We're making a very considerable investment in this new roof and work will take place over a number of months.
"When it’s finished later in the Spring, the building itself will look completely different and more aesthetically pleasing, while the actual fabric of the structure will find greater protection from the elements.
"This work forms part of the Upper Lenadoon External Cyclical Maintenance Programme which will commence shortly and will represent a total investment of around £1million in the area this year."
