The 2026 Festival of Sustainable Impact, organised by All-Ireland Sustainability (AIS) and Callow Events in partnership with Cushon, will take place on Thursday 1 October 2026 at the Europa Hotel in Belfast. The all-day event is set to welcome businesses and organisations from across the Island of Ireland, showcasing a diverse range of sustainability-focused sectors including sustainable finance, biodiversity, behavioural insights, green marketing, tourism, circular economy, innovation, policy, ESG leadership, and practical business transformation.

Centred around the theme "Smarter Business Through Sustainability," the festival will explore how companies can utilise sustainability as a practical asset to lower expenses, generate long-term value, support staff, reinforce resilience, and upgrade total business performance. Industry speakers will focus on how sustainability has shifted from standalone environmental projects into a more intelligent approach to operating, investing, engaging workers, and future-proofing corporate operations.

Now marking its fifth year, the programme aligns with the All-Ireland Sustainability ethos by introducing a carefully curated, cross-sector agenda. For the first time, the Festival of Sustainable Impact will consolidate the All-Ireland Sustainability Summit and the Sustainability Awards into a single, day-long celebration of sustainable progress.

Danielle McCormick, Founder of All-Ireland Sustainability / Triterra, said: "We are delighted to announce the re-imagined Festival of Sustainable Impact which will shine a light on outstanding champions of sustainability in business across the Island of Ireland. Alongside our headline sponsor Cushon, and our key supporting sponsors, we are looking forward to recognising innovative thinking, ethical practice, and future-focused organisations from a range of sectors with the aim of inspiring businesses and organisations of all sizes to further embrace sustainability in their day-to-day operations and long-term objectives."

Headline sponsor Cushon will provide core support for this year's event. Specialising in workplace pensions and savings that focus on climate consciousness and sustainability, Cushon's product line offers straightforward avenues for enterprises to adopt sustainable practices. The firm works to connect employees with how their pension investments can positively shape the world they will retire into.

Commenting on their sponsorship, Jenda McSwiggan, Head of Growth Operations, NI, said: "Cushon is delighted to support the Festival of Sustainable Impact, an event that brings together organisations committed to creating a more sustainable future. We believe long-term thinking, responsible investment and positive social impact all play a vital role in building better futures for people, businesses and communities. We're excited to be a part of the collaboration and celebration which will take place throughout the festival."

The daytime itinerary of the festival will feature a series of plenary and fireside sessions, alongside informative break-out zones and practical learning segments. These sessions will include expert speakers from partner organisations such as NIE Networks, Danske Bank, and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland. Key thematic subjects will cover Sustainable Travel & Tourism, Manufacturing, AI and Sustainable Technology, Scope 3 Emissions Management and Monitoring, Green Marketing, Sustainability Reporting, and Behavioural Insights.

Additionally, an interactive exhibition space will run throughout the day to connect attendees with consultancies, facilitators, and organisations capable of helping them develop and deploy ESG commitments within their own business structures.

The All-Ireland Sustainability Awards gala dinner and evening ceremony will commence at 6:30pm to celebrate the individuals, projects, initiatives, and organisations leading sustainable practices over the past year, concluding with the presentation of the 'Overall Sustainability Champion of the Year' award. Submissions are currently open across 17 distinct award categories, with a closing deadline set for 7 August 2026. A specially curated panel of expert judges has been assembled to maintain impartiality and a rigorous evaluation process for the prestigious all-Ireland event.
