Uisce Éireann will next week commence essential upgrades to wastewater infrastructure in Dingle, focusing on the Dingle Bypass Road wastewater pumping station (WWPS). The programme is designed to maintain and improve the town's network, enhancing safety and supporting reliable services for the community.
Uisce Éireann Programme Manager, James McKenzie, said: "This project will provide vital upgrades to the operation of wastewater infrastructure in the heart of Dingle. In addition to supporting service improvements across the wastewater network, this project will enhance safety standards and extend the asset's life for years to come."
Works will take place at the WWPS site adjacent to Garvey's Supervalu car park in Dingle Town. To deliver the project safely and efficiently, temporary hoarding will be installed to secure the site and act as a visual screen. Standard working hours will be 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Ward and Burke Construction Ltd. will deliver the upgrades on behalf of Uisce Éireann. This phase of the project is expected to finish in early 2027.
