Work Starts On £80,000 Scheme In Craigavon

A road closure will take place this weekend at Carn Roundabout, Craigavon, as a major £80,000 resurfacing scheme continues.

The work was programmed to be completed over the weekend of Saturday 7 September - Monday 9 September, but due to a bad weather forecast, the final phase of the work had to be postponed and will now be carried out this weekend.

In order to minimise disruption to road users and to meet strict Health & Safety Regulations, the roundabout and slip roads will be closed to traffic whilst the resurfacing is in progress.

The closure will be effective from 2pm on Saturday 14 September until 6am on Monday 16 September.

During the works, through traffic will be diverted via Seagoe Road, Northway, Lake Road, Eastway, Derrymacash, Kilvergan Road and Carn Road. Traffic wishing to access the M12/M1 should do so via Northway and Kernan Loop. The diversion routes will be clearly signed to assist road users.
