Martin & Hamilton has completed upgrade and extension works for the new Border Force Immigration facilities at Belfast International Airport.
The works involved layout amendments spanning two floors, including the relocation of existing Border Force offices and modifications to the Departures corridor to facilitate expansion works. Additionally, construction and fitting out of a new Border Force watch house, interview rooms, and Immigration Hall were completed, with all necessary service amendments such as air conditioning and heat recovery systems provided.
The newly upgraded facility was completed in time for the busy summer season at the airport, with the new Immigration Hall offering expanded capacity to improve customer experiences at Belfast International Airport.
The works were delivered airside under strict security protocols. The demolition, extension and upgrade projects were executed within an operational site area.
